With the help of Dr. Leader, I have resolved some of my technical problems. Now I feel that I can move forward (or upward) again. I look forward to the day when my finished product will be something that the students, parents, and faculty of my school will be able to use as a resource. I want to provide activities that our students will enjoy; a home/school connection that is inviting to the parents and guardians of our students; and a place for teachers to go that will help them quickly find reliable and helpful resources. I appreciate the detailed instructions that I've received to help me accomplish this task. Thanks.

Filling up my tank
Well it's been a week of frustration and satisfaction. I enjoyed learning more about The Big6TM and finding new material for my website, and I was finally able to get my homepage looking pretty good, but still haven't been able to do the e-mail link the right way. Oh well, I guess I will figure it out eventually. The directions didn't work, so any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated!

A Few Bumps in the Road
Well, I was moving along pretty well with the webpage project. Then I started having trouble with my computer, and staying connected to the internet( we just went wireless). Last week's assignment took 10 times longer than it should, and by the time Tuesday night rolled around, I was so tired and frustrated, I couldn't think straight. The next day I went back to the webpage and found that I had timed out of Web CT and couldn't get back on. Finally, that was straightened out and I was able to add a background, but I've still not gotten the e-mail link to work. I'll continue to try and figure it out. I'm not going to let it lick me!

Movin' Right Along
I'm excited thinking about what I would like to do with my web page, and how I would like to use it. It has been previewed (still in it's beginning stages) by some of the faculty at my school, and has gotten positive reviews as well as constructive critcism concerning additions to the page. I've also done some streamlining after completing the Web Site Evaluation assignment. Everything I've learned has been helpful and useful!

Picking Up Speed
Wow, I'm relieved to know that I created a working web page, and that the Wednesday night presentation went well. The Live Classroom was a great experience. The projects that I viewed were very good, and I was particularly impressed with Tanya's TOEFL Test Preparation Resources.
I am thankful for a terrific work partner in Seth. We were able to practice in the Live Classroom on Tuesday night and worked out the bugs. It also gave us a chance to get to know one another a little better.
Now I look forward to the time when I will be using the finished (but always a "work in progress") web page with the students , teachers, and parents at my school. It will be the fulfillment of a plan I had back in 2004, but did not yet have the skills to accomplish. I love it when a plan comes together!

Late Bloomer
Now I'm finally beginning to get the hang of things in ITED 7200 thanks to my group partner, Seth. Just don't expect sophistication when it comes to blogging. It's not going to happen!

Unbelievable!
The world of electronic information sharing is mind boggling. I just get started learning how to access different types of search engines and have more information than I know what to do with. It blows me away!
